24/7 Emergency Plumbing, Heating & Water Pump
Service

Whether it’s a burst pipe, no heat in the middle of winter, or a failed well pump leaving you without water, Avon Plumbing & Heating is here when you need us most. Our team provides responsive, professional emergency plumbing, heating, and water pump services so you’re not left dealing with the problem alone. When you need an emergency plumber near you, you want a team that knows your area, arrives prepared, and fixes the problem right the first time. That’s exactly what we show up to do.

Emergency Plumbing Service

Plumbing emergencies can escalate quickly. A slow leak becomes a flooded basement. A running toilet becomes a water damage claim. The sooner a licensed plumber is on-site, the better the outcome. Our certified service team handles the full range of urgent plumbing issues, including:

  • Burst or frozen pipes
  • Major leaks and water line breaks
  • Sewer line backups and overflows
  • No hot water or failed water heater
  • Overflowing toilets and backed-up drains
  • Sump pump failures (especially critical during heavy rain)
  • Water main breaks and shutoff issues

If you’re searching for an emergency plumber near you in Avon, Simsbury, Farmington, Canton, or anywhere in Hartford County, one call reaches our dispatch team immediately.

Emergency Heating Service

No heat during the winter is more than an inconvenience. It can mean frozen pipes, property damage, and serious discomfort for your family. Our licensed technicians respond to heating emergencies of all kinds, including:

  • Boiler failures and pressure issues
  • Furnace shutdowns or no-heat calls
  • Radiant heat system failures
  • Thermostat or zone control failures
  • Gas line concerns (if you smell gas, leave the building and call your gas company first, then call us)
  • Heat exchanger and burner issues

Whether your system hasn’t started, has stopped mid-cycle, or is making sounds that weren’t there yesterday, don’t wait on a heating problem. Call us and we’ll dispatch a heating technician as quickly as possible.

Emergency Water Pump Service

For homeowners on private wells, a well pump failure means no water, period. No shower. No flushing. No running the kitchen. It’s one of the more disruptive emergencies a home can face, and it’s one of our specialties. We respond to water pump emergencies, including:

  • Complete loss of water pressure or no water at all
  • Well pump failure or burnout
  • Pressure tank waterlogging or bladder failure
  • Constant-pressure system malfunctions
  • Air in the lines or sputtering water
  • Electrical faults affecting pump operation

We carry common pump components on our service vehicles, which means many well pump repairs and replacements can be completed in a single visit.

Emergency Plumbing & Heating Service FAQs

  • What counts as a plumbing or heating emergency?

If the problem is actively causing damage, has cut off a critical home system (heat, water), or poses a health or safety risk, it’s an emergency. When in doubt, call us. We’d rather hear from you and help you assess the situation than have you wait for something to get worse.

  • Do you provide emergency well pump repair?

Yes! If you’ve lost water or your system isn’t functioning properly, we provide emergency well pump repair near you to restore service quickly.

  • What should I do while I wait for the plumber to arrive?

For a water leak or burst pipe, locate your main shutoff valve and turn off the water supply if you can do so safely. For a heating issue in cold weather, have a backup heat source ready (space heater, extra blankets) if the wait is extended. For a well pump failure, fill containers with water if any pressure remains.

  • Can I get parts for a DIY emergency repair?

Yes. For minor issues you’d like to tackle yourself, our friendly Parts Department staff can help you find exactly what you need to complete the job.

  • Do you service areas outside of Avon?

Yes. We serve communities throughout Farmington Valley and Hartford County, including Simsbury, Farmington, Canton, Avon, and surrounding towns.
